Has anyone heard of the TV series “Chuck”?
It was on NBC Monday nights, between 2007 and 2012.
It had five seasons, and it was amazing.
If you haven’t seen Chuck yet, it’s about this nerd (Charles Bartowski) who works at the Buy More. After opening up an email that was sent to him by his old college foe, Bryce Larkin (who is NOT who he says he is), all the government’s secrets are installed into his mind. This promptly sends him into this huge mess involving the CIA as well as the NSA…it makes more sense if you watch the show. Anyway, the show is absolutely hilarious, funny, and full of epic Star Wars references. If you like hilarity and spy shows, you will love this show. Let me just say that it is a little dry in the beginning, and Chuck can make some pretty *cough STUPID* newbie spy mistakes, but the first season is crucial if you want to know what’s going on. Seasons 2-5 are absolutely amazing. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and after you watch the series finale, you’ll watch the show all over again….at least, that’s what I’m doing!
The amazing Zachary Levi as Chuck Bartowski
Joshua Gomez as Morgan Grimes, Chuck’s best friend, who also works at the Buy More
Yvonne Strahovski as Sarah Walker/Jenny/tons of other aliases; works for the CIA.
Adam Baldwin as Colonel John Casey (NSA. Dry humor. Man of few words, grunts a lot. Likes to use his tranquilizer gun…a lot.)
Sarah Lancaster as Elinor (Ellie) Bartowski — Chuck’s sister.
Ryan McPartlin as Devon Woodcomb — aka Captain Awesome. (No, literally; he’s called Captain Awesome.)
Vik Sahay as Lester….who works at the Buy More.
Scott Krinsky as Jeffrey Barnes; also works at the Buy More.
Mark Christopher Lawrence as “Big Mike”, who is the store manager of the Burbank Buy More.
Bonita Friedericy as General Diane Beckman , who basically is the head of the Project Intersect.
I can’t really say very much about the show, because it would spoil a lot of things, but let’s just say that it’s an amazing show, and you can watch all 91 episodes on Netflix if you so desire. If you’ve already seen it, you know how epic the show was, and how much we need a movie! Another thing you’ll want to remember: When watching episodes 90 and 91, have a lot of tissues on hand. Oh my word.
It’s very funny, it has tons of sweet moments, and it’s…it’s Chuck. =D
Have you seen Chuck yet? What do you think about it? Do you plan on watching it sometime?
